School Holiday Progam
Primary School Aged Children
April 15, 16 & 17
Create to Connect holiday programs offer a calm, creative space for primary school aged children to spend their school holidays making art, exploring materials, and connecting with others in a small, supportive group.
These sessions are process-based and low-pressure, designed for kids who love creating and enjoy a quieter, more thoughtful environment.
Who this program is great for
This program is especially suited to children who:
Love art and making things
Want to creatively explore their special interests
Prefer smaller group settings
Enjoy working at their own pace
Don’t always thrive in loud or competitive holiday programs
What we’ll do
Each day of the program includes at least three guided art-making sessions, giving kids the chance to explore different materials, ideas, and creative processes in a relaxed and supportive environment. Alongside the art activities, we’ll also include games, short mindfulness moments, and plenty of time to connect and have fun together.
Day 1: Paint & Play
A day dedicated to exploring paint in playful and experimental ways. Kids will try a variety of painting techniques, mix colours, and create expressive artworks while enjoying the freedom to experiment and get a little messy.
Day 2: Collage & Construction
This session focuses on building, assembling, and transforming materials. Using paper, cardboard, recycled materials, and collage techniques, kids will create layered artworks and small constructions. We may also explore some simple sewing and textile elements to add texture and detail.
Day 3: Story Worlds
A creative day inspired by books and imagination. Kids will develop characters, illustrate scenes, design settings, and build their own imaginative story worlds. The focus is on visual storytelling, illustration, and creative world-building, with plenty of room for kids to share ideas and bring their stories to life.
Throughout the program, the focus is on creativity, curiosity, and connection — giving kids space to explore their ideas, express themselves, and enjoy making things together.
No art experience is needed.
